Hi there! My name is Alexa and I am the creative founder and lead planner & designer of Eventful by Alexa. I have been a proud vegetarian for over 13 years, and am an avid animal lover. When not planning events or in the office, you can find me going to concerts, watching a NY Knicks basketball game, or exploring a new place and seeking adventure of some kind. 

As an event planner, I have the pleasure of working with my clients over a long period of time and create a connection that develops into a friendship. There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching the look of awe and emotion on their faces when they see their vision come together on the event day.

There is so much detail and precision that goes into the logstical management side of planning a tented event, and we are the experts in it. Eventful by Alexa is a full service event planning design company based on Long Island, New York. We specialize in social event celebrations, weddings, corporate and non-profit events. Planning unforgettable occasions since 2020, Eventful by Alexa has rapidly grown into an event experience company that has gained the trust of our clients across New York and New Jersey. Through timeless and creative design concepts, technological innovations and an immersive guest experience, Eventful by Alexa has transformed more than 200 events into unforgettable experiences.

What event planning services do you offer? 

Eventful by Alexa offers full service planning for weddings, social events, non-profit and corporate events. We also offer partial planning and month of coordination services for weddings. 

Do you hire my vendors? 

Each vendor we work with is chosen with careful consideration, based on a variety of factors custom to you and your event. This process involves the research, sourcing and collaboration between your planner and each vendor involved in your event. We negotiate contracts and book your vendors, while managing the overall budget and upcoming payments.

Do you pay for my vendors on my behalf?

We do offer a complimentary and optional service to make vendor payments on your behalf using an authorization form you complete with your credit card information. If you choose to make payments on your own, we always provide you with reminders on upcoming payments, as well as provide you access to an organized payment tracker with detailed vendor information within your client portal. 

What is an event planner?

When working with us, we would describe an event planner as your strategic partner and creative visionary who transforms a simple idea into an unforgettable experience. We act as the your single point of contact, alleviating stress and saving invaluable time by expertly managing every facet of the event. We not only bring your vision to life, but protect it along the way and always have your best interest in mind.

We serve as a financial steward, skillfully negotiating with a curated network of elite vendors to maximize value and ensure every dollar is invested wisely. We anticipate and proactively resolve any unforeseen challenges, from last-minute changes to technical glitches, ensuring you and your guests can fully immerse themselves in the moment. 

So, what do I need to do within the planning process if we work together?

The beauty of hiring us an an event planner is that you really don't need to do much but enjoy the ride and party hard! When you need to make a decision, we will provide you with all of the information, visuals, comparisons, and our thoughts on the best approach and why. You just have to let us know which cake flavor you like more!

What is your planning fee?

Our planning and design fee is a full service experience, where we are by your side every step along the way. Our planning investment begins at $5,000. For more intimate occassions such as a luncheon, dinner party, or bridesmaids brunch with a guest count below 25 people, our planning investment begins at $2,500.

Are my vendors included in your planning fee?

While we do hiring and negoiate pricing for all of your vendors, and this service is included in our fee, we do not include any of the vendor payments in our planning fee. Each vendor has their own individual pricing and contracts that we cannot pre-determine until we are within the planning process. Any vendor or venue costs are in addition to our planning fee.
