Hi Mommas! My name is Heather and I am a family/milestone photographer on Long Island. I have 5 children of my own- 3 human and 2 with paws. I started my business 10 years ago when my daughter was one years old. Although I shoot everything from babies to weddings nowadays, my first love was photographing families! I know how important and special it is to have that one perfect picture you can stare at for hours and hang all over your house- that is exactly what I want to deliver to every family every time! I pride myself with being extra patient and easy going during family sessions especially with little ones. I tend to be very flexible in the field of family photography because anything can happen- I've seen it all even with my own and I get it- a day in the life of a Long Island Mom! lol My oldest is 14 so I also know how fast these days fly by. I would be honored to capture lots of smiles and laughs for your family to cherish forever!

I photograph a large variety of sessions as kids grow and I think I specialize mostly in Baby Showers and Family Photos. I have always loved events and although it comes kind of naturally to me, its not something that every photographer (especially if mostly familiar with natural light) can do so I definitely tend to shoot alot of Baby Showers which is so much fun! I also enjoy family session and believe it or not- PETS! They are your babies too :) Now that I am thinking about it- I can shoot family pet sessions for the rest of my life and be very happy lol

Ironically enough I started photography for my own family. I had a super tragic loss of my photos on my old phone (before the days of icloud) and lost practically every photo and video I had of my oldest as a baby :/ so when my second was born I took photo storage very seriously. I invested in nice equipment to photograph the kids and took it everywhere! So much that other people asked me to photograph their families too. I started getting recommended to more friends and it basically took off from there. I absolutely love it! I get complimented all the time about how I work with kids so putting kids and photography together is a no brainer for me :)

Do you travel for newborn photos?

Yes! I bring my props, wraps, and floor drops to you for a mix of lifestyle and posed newborn photography.

 

Do you have a minimum/maximum amount of photos included?

Unless specified during a specific mini I am running at the time- all photos are included in every session.

 

Do you have a studio?

Yes! I am located in West Islip and travel all over for families photos outside.

 

Do you mind if I bring my dog?

Absolutely not! Bring all the puppies please! 

I don't have a huuuge social life lol but when I do- I LOVE to travel! I try to take the kids away any chance I can- especially anwhere Disney :)
