Over 12 years ago, I picked up a camera and discovered a passion that’s shaped my life ever since. What started as a curiosity quickly became a career in photography—capturing real moments, real emotions, and preserving memories that last a lifetime.
While I spent many years immersed in the wedding industry and still enjoy being part of those beautiful days, my heart has grown more connected to photographing families. There’s something truly special about freezing a moment in time—whether it's toddlers laughing, generations coming together, or parents soaking in the joy of their little ones. I love helping families document their lives and create timeless keepsakes they’ll cherish forever.
Personal Hobbies
The list used to be a bit longer until I had my first little one this past year and she has been my main focus outside of work, having a baby is hard! Besides that though I love going to plays, movies and concerts. I also love family time, it’s very important to me and is the driving force in my life. Going out to a nice dinner is always a favorite of mine as well, Nothing like a delicious night out at Maninos in Oakdale! Comedy and laughing though are always at the forefront for me, I love to make people laugh, it’s makes my couples feel more comfortable.

Mike is an amazing photographer!! He has such a great way with children and has a warm wonderful personality. He has been taking pictures of our family since I was pregnant. He always knows what to do or say to get all 3 of my children to look at the camera and smile at the time during every session. I am so pleased with all of the pictures that Mike takes. My whole house is filled with the pictures he took throughout the years of our family. I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone who asks for a photographer
I can’t recommend Mike enough! He is such an amazing photographer and truly makes you feel so comfortable. He did my parents anniversary party for us a few years ago and my whole family still raves about the photos and how fun he made the whole experience ! His talent truly speaks for it self through all of his amazing pictures
Michael John was the photographer for my wedding so it was a no brainer to use him for my next big event, my daughters baptism! Mike is so much fun to work with! He really knows how to make you feel comfortable and captured amazing moments for me! The photos came out incrediblde! I'm so happy he was available to photograph another special day for my family! We love Mike and will definitely be using him again!!
